My painting, I’ll Remember This, was selected for Campbell Museums’ juried exhibition, Home. The work reflects on motherhood, memory, and the quiet domestic moments we will someday long to return to.

Notes from the studio

Meet the Artist

A black and white photo of a woman with long, wavy hair in front of a blurred background of flowers and foliage. She is in profile, wearing dark lipstick, and a sleeveless top with tie straps.

My work is rooted in oil painting, but extends into photography, design, and the quiet rituals of everyday life. I am drawn to light as it moves across a surface, to textures that feel lived in, and to moments that might otherwise go unnoticed.

My art practice has been profoundly shaped by my studies in History of Art and Visual Culture at University of California, Santa Cruz, where I earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts with a concentration on the Italian Renaissance. I’m inspired by classical art, nature, and memory - things that feel both personal and enduring.

Over time, my work has found its way into private collections and publications around the world.

I live in the San Francisco Bay Area with my husband and our two daughters, who are at the heart of the world I create.
