The Ainsley House Gallery Exhibit

I’ll Remember This
16 × 20
Oil on Canvas

I was so moved by the amount of support I received for my painting, I’ll Remember This, which is now on exhibit at the Ainsley House in downtown Campbell, California.

This painting holds a particularly special place in my heart because it marks my return to oil painting after many years away. I hadn’t painted in oils since before becoming a mother, so it feels especially fitting that the first painting I completed upon returning to the medium also includes my two daughters. If you look closely through the window, you’ll find them nestled in the garden, watering the flowers.

On opening night, we hosted a small gathering to celebrate the exhibition and the success of the show. A few weeks later, the gallery held an artists’ reception, giving visitors the opportunity to meet the artists and explore the surrounding museums. As a small thank-you, I gave blank greeting cards featuring I’ll Remember This to those who came to support my work.

Thank you for the enormous outpouring of love and encouragement from everyone who has reached out to me. Your support has been deeply felt and so very appreciated.

My dress for opening night. Somehow I didn’t get any photos of myself from our gathering!
