Charlotte Rose Turns One!

I can’t believe my baby is one already. We had a blast celebrating her over the weekend with a Disneyland themed birthday party. :)

I’ll share some insights into the design process. I designed everything from scratch, from her birthday silhouette to her photoshoot, the invitation, the decorations, etc. I drew the designs in Illustrator for the invitation, designing it to have custom gold leaf elements throughout. I carried those shapes over to Cricut where I cut out large banners for the party. I took her birthday photos in my sunroom, which is my new studio. It gets the most beautiful lighting. Those photos were printed and framed for each table. And I baked her an assortment of cookies, a birthday tradition I do for both of my girls.
